Support
Email support@biz59.net or open an issue on GitHub. Say which version you run (Pilotbase › About) and attach the backend log if something failed.
Where your data lives
Help › Open data folder shows it. The Mac App Store version keeps it inside its sandbox (~/Library/Containers/com.pilotbase.desktop); the direct download uses ~/Library/Application Support/Pilotbase. The two don't share connections. Logs: Help › Open logs folder, file backend.log.
Common fixes
- SQLite or DuckDB file won't open in the Mac App Store version: pick it with Choose… (or make one with New…) in the connection form, so macOS lets Pilotbase open it.
- Can't reach a database: check host, port and SSL mode with Test, and that your network or VPN allows the connection.
- AI answers don't come: open Settings, check the provider (Ollama must be running, or an OpenRouter key set) and press Test.
- Claude Desktop (MCP) works with the direct download from pilotbase.pro, not the Mac App Store version.
